Ernest Samey is a Cook at the Raleigh Marriott City Center; he loves his job.
“I’ve been cooking for a long time. I wanted to try something different, so I came to the hotel. It’s a big difference, and I am learning many things from the hotel. I love it so far.” Said Samey.
While unique in its own right, Samey’s story shares similarities with many other professionals in the hotel industry. He started in the hotel at an entry-level position. Through his hard work, he has made a career for himself.
Over the past few months, Five Stars has traveled to several of our hotel partners to capture the stories like Ernest’s. We heard from some incredible individuals and we aim to share these stories on social media to inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals.
